Eric, as we both know we get to a point that there are just no words. Our family has had the unfortunate circumstance of experiencing 2 losses in a short 3 month period. Not only did you make us feel like we were your only client you also made sure neither loss took a back seat or felt less important than the other. Eric, I am reaching out to let you know of the comfort that you brought our family during the worst days of our lives. Gina Nuzzo Vienneau is my sister, and I am River's aunt. Despite our horrific loss, we were so comforted by having a beautiful space to spend time with River and remember him. Thank you for letting us have as much time as we needed with him. We all talked about how beautiful and peaceful he looked; thank you so much for making my sister's last memories of her son serene ones. My sister and her husband recently moved from NYC, and we know that our experience would not have been as healing if we were there. After we spent time with River, we all walked across the street and hiked up the hill. We spent time walking, sitting in the sum, and remembering River in a beautiful and healing place. Your space was so powerful that some family members who were not able to travel at this time have talked about coming to see your building, and to take a walk across the street. I know that no one gets in to your profession without being caring and compassionate, but my family spoke of you often during the last few days, and we all agree that you are someone special. Thank you for bringing us a measure of peace and comfort with our enormous loss.

Our family would like to extend the biggest thank you to Eric Nelson at Hall Funeral Home. Eric is the most caring, compassionate, patient and understanding god sent our family could have asked for. His knowledge in the field is incredible. He made the unbearable steps of our families tragedy flow seamlessly and effortlessly. From the start he gained the trust and respect of my grandfather (which by the way is very hard to do) and made sure all of the families wishes were met. He helped with every aspect making sure all of our bases were covered and nothing was forgotten and for that.... Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Upon the death of my Wife , Eric indeed went above and beyond, going as far as tracking down my wife's hair dresser for her final perm, and helping to hire the minister we had requested. From beginning to the end everything was done in friendly but professional manner. The Hall Funeral Home is still in good hands. Thank you again Eric.

Eric was incredibly helpful. The stones that he had made for us were just perfect and matched existing stones at the gravesite beautifully. He personally arranged for the burial, and took care of all the tiny details that made the burial service simple and beautiful. He was kind and patient, answered questions, and (this was so important to me) answered calls, text, and emails promptly. He exemplifies the highly competent, thoughtful, personal care that typifies the best of Maine. He made a difference for us at a time when it really counted.
